Nothing Much

So my daughter does the craziest things. She is a spirited little girl, and comes up with some weird stuff. She also comes up with some not so weird stuff, like when her room needs to be cleaned, she suddenly comes down with a case of arm and leg pain, which is greater than any pain she has ever felt in her life. This must be a kid thing, because my friends kids have said this same thing before.

The greatest, though, is when she comes up with Raeann originals, like saying "So long suckers!" to people behind us when we are driving. Or when I changed the channel after the Simpsons and she rolled around on the floor next to her brother saying "How could you change the Simpsons? How could do that to this wonderful child? How could you? He is only a baby!" I just wonder where she gets this stuff sometimes.

This makes me wonder what Roger is going to say when he gets older. Is he going to be like Rae? I know he will have his own personality and things like that, but what will that be? I remember wondering the same thing about Rae. As soon as she started showing personality, I knew exactly who she was like (her father). So will Roger act like Ben? Who knows. Raeann also wonders aloud all the time about what he is going to talk like. I cannot wait to hear the sound of his little baby voice forming words for the first time. Until he does it and I have to scream "Be quiet!" at two of them instead of one.

Anyway, there is no real point to this, just some random thoughts that pass through my head every once in a while and sometimes need to get down on paper. Or the internet for whoever to read. Either way, it's out, and I can go to bed.

So here we are...

My best friend Jacque has a blog here, and has been hounding me for weeks to do one also. So here it is Miss Jacqueline! You can rest easy tonight knowing that I have actually gotten onto the internet, typed in an address and even created something. It is not something I really have a lot of time for, as I am a full time student and a full time mother. I also work at the college that I attend as secretary of sorts in the Athletics Department. And I do have to say, baseball season is underway, and those young guys in their tight pants cause quite a distraction!

I guess I should take a few minutes here and maybe say a little something about our lives here in Washington. It rains. All year long. We don't have seasons here, we have cold rain and warm rain. We find a lot of things to do indoors as a result of this. Sometimes during the warm rain, the days get sunny and hot and we (my friends and all of our many kids) pack up and go to our favorite spot on the river.

I assume this is also where I should tell everyone a little bit more about myself and my "darling angels." I say this with the greatest love one could muster for their children, but anyone who has "darling angels" knows what I am talking about. I will start with myself. I am 27, and like I said before I am now in school to get an AAS in office technology, which basically means a glorified secretary. I am a single mom, and yes my children do have different fathers which actually bothers me more than anyone else it seems. I always promised myself if I had more than one they would be with the same man, but hey life happens. I was with my daughter's father for six years before we called it quits, but that is a whole different ballgame. My son's father was my high school sweetheart, we went out for two years. We saw each other a year after high school and tried a relationship again, but it didn't work for various reasons. We didn't see each other for about six years, and then he found me on myspace and well, my son is now 5 months old. His father, however, seems to have dropped off the face of the earth. Like I said, life happens. Well, since it Easter Sunday, I should probably get the kids ready to go to my mother's for dinner, so maybe I will find a little time later to write some more.
