I finally watched Twilight last night, since everybody and their brother has seen it and bugged me about watching it (yeah, you know who you are). It was a good movie, although I really didn't see what all the fuss was about. It was not actually that great. It had a nice story line, but the graphics sucked. It was sort of disheartening, as I really love vampire movies in general. Of course there is also the fact that this movie was filmed in Forks, which is a one-horse town a couple of hours away from where I live. You can't blink when you drive through it or you will miss it. The shots of the forest were absolutely gorgeous though, and the mountains were beautiful. However, I see those all the time when I look out the window, because Washington is the Evergreen state for a reason. If anyone has a chance to visit the Quinault National Rain forest, I suggest you do so. It is a really pretty area, and has a few cool waterfalls. I went a few years ago with my ex, and we had a ton of fun driving through it and walking around in the waterfalls. Anyway, back to the movie: to sum it up, it was just alright. Sorry Jacque! Maybe the book is better.

  1. Well, I started the 2nd book. And now I'm on the 3rd. What was nice is when the story line continues... It should hopefully get better.
